The role of the Board of Directors is to establish organizational policies, focus on long-term goals, evaluate CEO performance and manage funds in a fiscally responsible manner. These individuals are passionate about United Way and dedicated to its mission of bringing people and resources together to strengthen the community.

Join our diverse group of community leaders and key decision makers. Board members must live or work in Oakville, be knowledgeable about the community and have valuable experience in labour, business, government, or the voluntary sector. The term of commitment required is three years. Attendance to monthly board meetings is mandatory as well as availability to participate in United Way events.
