Strong Communities Coalition
United Way of Oakville is an active member of the Strong Communities Coalition, a coalition of health and human services in Durham, Halton, Peel and York.
The coalition advocates the need to improve timely access to local services by encouraging the Province of Ontario to provide growth funding for the GTA/905 to ensure that funds are allocated on the basis of population size, growth and characteristics.
