Thank you to to all of the employees at Ford Motor Company OAC who delivered 3 Ford Econolines full of supplies to United Way Oakville, plus $1,200, for distribution to those in need in our community as part of Ford’s Global Week of Caring. In addition, employees at Ford Corporate Head Quarters delivered 5 Ford Flexes and $160!

Donated items included clothing, school supplies, baby supplies, new and gently used toys, toiletries and gently used books.

United Way Oakville helped distribute the donations to Halton Trauma Centre and Safteynet, and many more community agencies.

“United Way Oakville is so grateful to partner with Ford with this initiative.  The generous donations from the Ford employees help so many people right here in the community as well as build awareness of the needs that do exist in Oakville,” said Brad Park, United Way Oakville CEO.

Special thanks to the Oakville District Labour Council for donating their hall to store the items for pick-up.
