2010 Campaign Cabinet Chair
United Way of Oakville is pleased to announce that Mary Cardamone has been appointed the 2010 Campaign Cabinet Chair.
Mary is a top realtor at Royal LePage and has ranked in the top 1% for many years.
“We are thrilled that Mary has accepted the position,” said Barbara Burton, United Way of Oakville CEO. “She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and leadership, which we are confident will benefit both United Way and the Oakville community.”
A long time community resident, Mary is a very active Rotarian in Oakville. In 2005-2006 Mary held the elected position of President of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce. Mary has also served in the past on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Oakville.
In addition to a new Campaign Cabinet Chair, United Way of Oakville has changed the 2010 campaign theme to LIVE UNITED. “We are very excited to launch LIVE UNITED,” said Mary. “It’s more than a catchy phrase, it’s a call to action. I would like to encourage everyone in Oakville to LIVE UNITED and make a difference to someone in Oakville.”
Mary replaces Ann Mulvale, who was Campaign Cabinet Chair for the past 2 campaigns.
“We are truly grateful to Ann for all that she has done for us,” said Barbara. “Her leadership and commitment to United Way and to the Oakville community has been exemplary.”
