Knit Wits knit for United Way
An avid knitting group - called Knit Wits - from Queen's Avenue Retirement Residence in Oakville donated a number of hats, scarves and mittens they made in both children and adult sizes to United Way of Oakville. UWO will pass the warm winter wear to HIPPY Oakville (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters), an organization that provides pre-school, home-based education to empower parents to be their 3 or 4 year old child's first educator and prepares them for success when they enter Kindergarten. Thank you Knit Wits!
